'West of Civilization'

Born in the Northwest, Robert started climbing mountains at a very early age. His interest in mountains continued at the college level as he majored in Geology. His interest in painting was sparked by his wife, Robin, and became an overpowering, driving force that still keeps him at the easel seven days a week. He is always at least three paintings ahead of himself in his head. This is a way of life for Robert, yet the occasional fishing trip in his boat sometimes interrupts his schedule. Robert has participated in all of the Toppenish Western Art Shows, plus many others throughout the west. His portrayal of mountain scenes captivates viewers.
